What are you going to do?
Our goal is to deliver our customers‘ flowers and plants to Italy as fresh as possible. This means that we transport the flowers and plants from our clients in the Netherlands to the customer in Italy as quickly as possible and without damage. All our employees treat flowers and plants as gifts and act accordingly. As a domestic driver in the Aalsmeer region, you have an important role in ensuring that flowers and plants in the area are collected on time and ready for our international drivers, who depart for Italy every afternoon and early evening from our locations in Aalsmeer and De Lier.
The flowers and plants are collected during the day, in close consultation with the team leader in Aalsmeer, in order to optimise the routes in and around the flower auction. During the day, you will be asked to help our team leader in Aalsmeer prepare the shipments for departure. This can sometimes be quite a puzzle, so you will need to work together as a team to solve it as quickly and efficiently as possible!
For you, teamwork means contributing ideas about possible improvements in the work, so that together we can ensure that our services fully meet the customer's wishes. You are stress-resistant, think in terms of solutions and take action where necessary to ensure that our daily processes run as smoothly as possible. You can start immediately in this enjoyable, challenging position!
What does your team look like?
There is an open working atmosphere where everyone works hard together. At our locations in De Lier and Aalsmeer, we have a dynamic team in the warehouse and in planning, and they appreciate proactive drivers who contribute ideas and communicate changes clearly, so that we can work together to find solutions. All this ensures that international drivers can start their journeys immediately, without any problems and as early as possible. Our customers in Italy rely on us to deliver their flowers and plants as quickly as possible and in good condition.
What are you bringing?
- You have work experience in logistics;
- You speak Dutch and English (Italian is an advantage);
- You have a valid CE driving licence and a valid code 95 certificate.
